Events - Eco Week 2009
A property conceptualized by Brandwidth.
The Eco Week kicked off with a Press Conference with the Photo op as a Tree made out of Waste Cans, Bottle Caps and Bottles – Signifying life in Recycling!! All partners coming together on stage and planting seeds to promote Green Living.
Followed by a Week Long Photo Exhibit of Nat Geo’s Pictures on effects of Global Warming!! and Movie Screenings organized for School Children to showcase Documentaries made by NGC.
The Eco Week was concluded by India’s first Green Fashion Show where designers like Ritu Kumar, Raghuvendra Rathore, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Kakoli Bannerjee & British Designer Mark Liu came together to showcase their Eco Friendly designs.
Brandwidth ensured the usage of Eco Friendly material for the Event Décor & made use of Bagaas Board, Bamboo, Jute & Used Egg Crates!!
The Event was also accompanied by a Green Flea Market & an Organic Food Fiesta.

Events - Star One - Hans Baliye Meet & Greet Karisma
A Press Event to fulfill the wish of kids from Make a Wish Foundation of India.
Star One fulfilled the wish of the kids to meet Comedian Guggi & Karisma Kapur who instantly connected with the kids.
Events - Incredible India Photo Exibit
A photo exhibit showcasing the Indelible Impressions of India during the National Tourism Awards was organized in association with the National Geographic Channel.
The photo op of the Exhibition was a 9 ft Logo of National Geographic.
The photos were displayed on a 110 ft seamless wall.
6 City Activation organized to give an experience to Consumers of the new variant of Kurkure – Funjabi Kadhai Masala which is made out of Rajma.
The entire activation was designed keeping in mind that the variant specially talks about the Punjabi Culture. Manpower was dressed in a Punjabi Attire and they served the Kurkure in specially branded cones kept in tokris like the ones used by vendors selling Groundnuts on Beaches.
The activation covered Malls, Markets, Shopping Festivals, Concerts & Modern Trade Outlets. A specially branded Innova was also made for the Activation.
Events - Shaping the Future
National Geographic Channel’s unique initiative to identify scientific and technological innovations originating from across India and to select a few outstanding ones for wide media exposure and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Brandwidth activated the initiative by putting up posters across 600 Engineering, Medical & Business Colleges. The contest received over 400 well researched entries.
These were analyzed by some of the best brains in the country who selected the top 10 to 15 entries in each region.
The selected teams took part in their respective Regional Finals and the winners in each presented their Ideas in front of the Media & the Jury at the National Finals in Delhi.
A Platform created to provide an opportunity to the talented individuals of the country to showcase their talent and to frame their dreams into reality.
The Nat Geo Moment Awards was activated by Brandwidth by putting up posters across 500 colleges with a special focus on Photography & Mass Communication Colleges.
The contest got more than 30,000 entries across India.
Out of all the entries received, some of the Best Photographs were displayed at British Council Centers in Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore.
The Exhibitions were clubbed with Photography Workshops taken by some of the best known names in Photography.

Events - Science of Cricket
Workshops organized in Delhi & Bangalore with the then N.C.A. Head Coach & the current Kolkata Knight Riders Coach – Dav Whatmore.
The workshops were organized primarily to explain the Science involved behind Cricket and was organized for Cricket Enthusiasts in both these cities.
More than 600 Cricketers turned up in each city to attend the workshops.
Events - Science Main Twist
SCIENCE MAIN TWIST – A Press Conference for National Geographic Channel and Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
National Geographic Channel, India and the Ministry of Science & Technology tied up to make a Ten part Series in order to make Science interesting for School Children.
The partnership was announced at a Press Conference to launch the series and to reveal the plan to activate the series by conducting screening sessions across 1000 schools in India.
Hon’ble Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Shri Prithviraj Chavan and Rajesh Sheshadri, Senior Vice President, Content & Communication, National Geographic Channel unveiled the DVD of the series and a glimpse of the series was shown to the press.
Micromax Mobile launched its new Mobile – G4 Gamolution Mobile.
The Mobile featured Motion Sensor Gaming which enables the user to play action sensor Games when connected to a Laptop.
Brandwidth activated the You V/s Me Contest across 21 Malls in 5 cities.
An experiential 3 sided Gaming Zone was created in Malls where the T.G. experienced the Gamolution Mobile.
Special Merchandise was created for the activation.
Apart from the Mall Activation, Brandwidth also Activated the Gamolution Experience at Retail Outlets across Delhi.
Over 10000 Demos of the Phone given throughout the Activation!!
Yahoo recently tied up with idea to provide special Yahoo Services on Idea Sim Cards.
The same was to be promoted to all Idea Employees as an office contact program organized across 14 cities.
Employees were educated in detail about how to use Yahoo services on Idea Sim Cards.
A lucky draw was held daily and one of the employees in each office won an Apple Ipod daily.
The Quest for the Best. National Geographic Channel’s Hunt for the Super Kid, a kid who personifies the Brand.
A School Contact Program covering more than 4,50,000 kids in 400 schools across 14 cities.
Brandwidth entered the top most schools across India and were able to target schools which never allow any brand to get inside the school.
The content of the Hunt was designed keeping in mind the pedigree of the brand.
A hunt across India to search for the Child Genius of India. A platform to give India the next Student Icon.
The Hunt touched more than 6,50,000 kids across 1200 schools in 20 cities.
The hunt was divided into 3 phases – School Tests, City Finals and the National Finals.
The Hunt tested the kids on Science, Maths and Logical Ability. The test was conducted across India with Iken’s Educational Product Ken RS Device.
The National Finals tested the top students by giving them practical problems of Science with new state of the art technologies!!
To promote the upcoming series Castle (on Star World), a unique branding activation was conceptualized.
Since, the show is about Crime Investigation, a special installation was created which was placed across 20 PVR’s in Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore.
Star World came out with Season 5 of Desperate Housewives. The tag line was “Even Juicier” and the show’s creative also featured Red Apples.
Brandwidth conceptualized an Agency Stunt to promote the series at Media Agencies across Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore by placing Red Apples on every one’s desk early morning with a line – EVEN JUICIER.
This was followed up by Hot Women coming to the offices and offering them chilled Apple Juice and telling them about the Series.
Star World came out with Season 3 of Ugly Betty. To promote the same, Brandwidth conceptualized a 2 step activation –
UGLY BETTY AGENCY STUNT – An activation to promote the series to Media Agencies in Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore was done where the TG could dress as Ugly Betty and get clicked as Ugly Betty. This was clubbed with a Lucky Draw where the winners were given Elle Shopping Vouchers.
UGLY BETTY PR STUNT – Disruptive marketing to create PR Hype was conducted in Mumbai and PR. Girls dressed as Ugly Betties roamed across Mumbai and Pune for a complete day. People and Media both followed and as a result, the necessary hype was created. This was followed by an intense PR coverage.
